It’s still a relatively new medium, and it took me a little while to figure out how to really command these performances. First of all, it’s important to let viewers know your rules when you cam. Make sure you set the parameters for what can and can’t be said during your shows. You can ignore them. Don’t underestimate the power of silence in your show. Not talking or acknowledging things shows the room that you are in charge.
You can warn them that if they are not patient and continue to interrupt the show, they will be booted. This should be done quickly, as soon as it occurs. If the problems persist, kick them out. There’s nothing more frustrating than having a viewer ruin the show for everyone else. Fortunately, other members usually chime in to help the Web girl get her point across.
Another way to handle this situation, and the one I frequently use, is to turn the viewers insistent request into member participation. I respond to the impatient “let’s see some action” with the playful: “That’s not what I want to hear, I want to hear how you’re touching your cocks for me. That’s what gets me off.” That gets members more involved in the chatroom and makes the show go more smoothly. Sometimes they need a little direction. They are looking to participate, they just don’t always know what’s appropriate.

GET PERSONAL

When new people enter the room, say hello to them using their names. The appeal of the Web cam show is that girls get personal with their members. I like to be really friendly with the viewers. I’ve definitely gotten to know a few of my members very well this way. The more they know you and you know them, the less pushy they are and the easier it is for the performer to relax and get seriously dirty.

I like to start shows off slowly, sitting on the bed, maybe eating some fruit and chatting. We talk about all kinds of things, and yes, sex of course. But I make them wait for that. Pace the show and remember, the anticipation of sex and filthy talk add to the excitement of the show.

I like to play with the room. I smile and laugh and flirt a lot. A good way to tease is to ask questions. “Do you want to see me touch myself?” “Are you gonna cum all over me?” Asking questions is the best way to keep the chat room active because members are responding to your direct questions.

OH, THEY CAN HEAR ME

Talking to a chat room took some getting used to. I can type responses to the room, but I generally talk into a microphone. It’s a bit strange responding to typed messages this way, but viewers say that hearing my voice is one of the best parts of the show.

When it comes time for some action, I make sure to move the microphone as close to me as possible. Members love to hear sighs and moans as much as they love to hear dirty words. Whatever I’m doing to myself or my partner is doing to me, I talk into the camera as if it were the member with me. “Oh, your cock feels so good.” There’s nothing too original about this lingo, except that each Web girl can make it seem her own by saying it in her natural voice.
