Hot House, Next Door Form Online Partnership
YNOT – Hot House Entertainment and Next Door Entertainment have entered into a strategic partnership that “unites the critically acclaimed standards of Hot House productions with the online marketing expertise, well-established know-how and reach of Next Door Entertainment and its affiliate platform, Next Door Buddy Profits,” the gay adult companies announced Wednesday.
The strategic partnership establishes a new digital marketing strategy for Hot House, allowing the studio to continue producing original content while Next Door provides membership website technology, online marketing and affiliate program management.
Hot House currently maintains two membership sites, the Hot House Backroom and the Club Inferno Dungeon. Both sites will be redesigned and re-launched in the spring of 2011 and become part of the Buddy Profits affiliate program, Hot House founder and President Steven Scarborough revealed.
“Fans will be thrilled with a fantastic new state-of-the-art membership site with many new features like mobile device compatibility,” he said. “Affiliates will be thrilled with the award-winning tools and service of the Buddy Profits program, and our staff will be relieved to be out of the technology and billing business. This will allow us to really focus on what we do best: making kick-ass porn that sells. We just couldn’t be more excited about the future.”
The companies plan to migrate current Hot House Cash affiliates to Buddy Profits during May 2011. In the short term, commencing this week, Buddy Profits will take the first step toward transition by assuming monthly affiliate payments on behalf of Hot House Cash. Existing Hot House Cash affiliates will continue to promote the Hot House Backroom and Club Inferno Dungeon through Hot House Cash, but they will receive their monthly payouts from Buddy Profits, effective immediately. Once the new Hot House sites are launched in 2011, affiliates will switch to promoting the Backroom and Dungeon through the Buddy Profits program. More details for making the transition will be communicated directly to Hot House Cash affiliates well in advance of the changeover, a Buddy Profits spokesperson said.

Fans and members of the Backroom and Dungeon will see no immediate changes but can expect to see a series of site upgrades and an enhanced user experience when new sites are launched in the spring of 2011, Sirard said.
