Homegrown to Re-launch Lifestyle Amateurs Network
LOS ANGELES – Calling their collaboration a “mentorship,” Lifestyle Amateurs has handed management of its online network to venerable Homegrown Video. In addition to re-launching LSA’s websites, Homegrown plans to fortify the properties with the library of amateur content Homegrown has produced over the past 30 years.
“Homegrown Video has more experience with the amateur community than any company out there,” said Lifestyle Amateurs spokesman Thomas Kjaergaard. “We look forward to seeing our sites get ‘the Homegrown touch.’”
Homegrown generally is credited with creating the so-called amateur porn movement. According to President Farrell Timlake, the ever-popular gonzo and pro-am porn niches developed as more traditional adult studios attempted to employ professional performers and crews in a way that mimicked the unadulterated, “raw” look of Homegrown’s consumer-produced porn. Although Homegrown has refined its production and marketing techniques over the three decades of its existence, the company maintains its devotion to the amateur niches.
Lifestyle Amateurs’ focus on amateur solo models makes the companies natural partners, Timlake added.
“LifestyleAmateurs.com has a great roster of amateur solo sites,” he opined. “Homegrown is the ideal fit for developing the network and growing the community. Our content back-end will allow amateurs to focus on production and leave the webmaster duties and marketing to us.”
According to Kjaergaard Lifestyle Amateurs will maintain its own affiliate program, but Homegrown will assist with marketing efforts.
“The LifestyleAmateurs.com site has steadily grown its portfolio of performer profiles, as well as its traffic, to create something quite noteworthy for the amateur market,” Homegrown Chief Executive Officer Spike Goldberg said. “Lifestyle Amateurs’ developers listen to their models, to help them create the best solo amateur sites for their portfolio. In addition, they listen to their affiliates, continuously adding options and tools based on affiliate requests to increase the affiliate experience.”
Homegrown’s affiliate program is located at HomegrownCash.com.
