Anne Hodder-Shipp to Host ‘Compassionate Customer Service’ Webinar 3/6
LOS ANGELES – This Friday, March 6, adult industry veteran and sex educator Anne Hodder-Shipp will host “Compassionate Customer Service,” a live training webinar intended for “adult industry customer service reps, store managers, retail staff and other professionals looking to build stronger, more effective customer communication skills.”
The webinar will begin at 2 p.m. PDT on Friday and is “open to anyone looking to learn how to handle concerns, complaints, and questions with tools that translate into return visits,” according to a statement released by Hodder-Shipp.
Sponsored by sex education organization Everyone Deserves Sex Ed (EDSE), the inspiration for the Compassionate Customer Service came after Hodder-Shipp was invited to speak to retailers at an event hosted by adult products distributor Eldorado. At the session, Hodder-Shipp “shared communication tools, problem-solving strategies, and humorous anecdotes while answering important questions from an eager audience of adult industry professionals.”
“Stellar customer service is key for forming lasting, loyal relationships with adult retail shoppers, and that includes responding to customers in a compassionate manner,” Hodder-Shipp said. “I had a blast working with so many adult store managers and staff during the inaugural workshop and I knew I had to create a version that would be available to adult industry professionals around the world.”
“This Compassionate Customer Service webinar teaches effective ways to communicate with people who might not know what they’re looking for or might be seeking more than just a product recommendation, and help create a sense of trust that can turn that shopper into a loyal lifelong customer,” Hodder-Shipp added.
According to Hodder-Shipp’s announcement, Compassionate Customer Service “combines social psychology research with tangible communication tools and a 5-step process for answering customer questions. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the strong impact compassion and empathy can have in a retail environment, how to strengthen their own compassion and empathy muscles, and ways to effectively improve their day-to-day interactions in their professional and private lives.”
Attendees can participate in the webinar from anywhere in the world via phone or computer. Tickets are $49 per person. After making their payment, attendees will receive a private link that directly connects to the live webinar.
