Hentaied’s Romero, Emiri Momota Profiled by Delirium Mag
BUDAPEST, Hungary – Hentaied Universe creator and producer Romero, Mr. Alien and contract star Emiri Momota are profiled in issue 39 of the cult, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and exploitation magazine Delirium, the studio announced in a statement issued Friday.
“If you’ve ever wanted to get inside the mind of Hentaied’s Romero, now is your chance,” Hentaied’s reps said in promoting the profile.
Romero and Momota were interviewed for the piece by Delirium’s Scott Feinblatt. In “Horror Porn: Where Mainstream Horror Ends and Niche Porn Begins,” Romero discusses his inspirations for starting the Hentaied brand, the sources of his unusual story ideas, the atmosphere on his sets and compares his casting process with that of mainstream films, among other subjects.
Emiri addresses the difference between her online personas, Emiri Momota and Sumire Mizukawa, as well as the differences between working for Japanese and Western studios. She also talks about the difference between working with Romero’s studio and other Western studios, how she first discovered live-action tentacle scenes and being a fan of horror movies.
The four-page feature also includes stills from Romero’s scenes and photos of Emiri in action on Hentaied sets.
“We did this interview at the end of last year, and I’m excited it’s finally out,” Romero said.
“It’s great to reach the mainstream with what we’re doing,” Romero added. “Many of our productions are higher-end than many mainstream projects. I’m curious to see the reception our feature gets.”
