“Hentai Look-Alike Party” A Smash Hit for Gaming Adult and ImLive
After taking some time to crunch the numbers and assess the impact of the cross-promotion, Gaming Adult and ImLive are sharing the results of their collaborative “Hentai Look-Alike Party,” which ran from February 28 through March 1.
According to the two companies, over 10,000 gamers became members of the ImLive platform over the course of the event, in which 360 ImLive models participated and the ImLive cosplay live shows received over 100,000 visitors that weekend. Three of ImLive’s models, Susan Blake, Micaela Smith and Nika Kova, will be joining Gaming Adult’s popular game Hentai Heroes in avatar form.
To say the two companies were pleased with the outcome would be an understatement, judging by the post-event comments of senior executives.
“The visionary approach of our partner has allowed us to achieve goals for both our businesses –ambitions that have never been reached in the industry before,” said Tal Bar Cohen, CMO of ImLive. “This collaboration has proven that a merge between different but related user experiences can grow a true value for both of our users and platforms.”
Bar Cohen added that the collaboration with Gaming Adult was “an all-around amazing experience for ImLive.”
The Hentai Look-Alike Party was promoted on social media by Gaming Adult and the participating ImLive models – and Gaming Adult Business Developer Onizuka gave much of the credit for the promotion’s success to the ImLive models, saying his platform’s players were “enchanted by the models’ beauty.”
“We are impressed with ImLive and their models’ dedication and professionalism,” Onizuka said, adding that the “experiment just showed that there is a great potential for more lucrative projects between gaming and other adult verticals.”
The success and ingenuity of the cross-promotion did not go unnoticed outside of the two companies either; ImLive and Gaming Adult were awarded with the Best Marketing Campaign Award at the Live Cam Awards at TES Lisbon in March.
