Haley Spades Guests on ‘And Now We Drink’
Haley Spades is the featured guest on the latest episode of Matt Slayer’s popular “And Now We Drink” podcast, now streaming.
“And Now We Drink” is like “the conversation at the end of the bar” with your favorite comedians, musicians, writers, actors and adult performers. On Episode 248, the the super-petite adult film star, dancer, model and streamer discusses the ins and outs of stripping work, some of the busiest places she has worked and how great numbers have been despite the pandemic.
New Orleans, Louisiana will always be a special place for Spades, who also shares stories of her drinking adventures in the city, and about a night filled with stripper poles, alcohol, emergency dental surgery, and cock-blocking her friend. Now residing in Los Angeles, she describes her first experience with an earthquake, and how finding good Cajun cuisine is hard.
On the topic of food, Spades and Slayer talk about her current diet and, more importantly, her cheat meals (or days). One such cheat meal led Spades and friend on an adventure around NYC looking for Spider-Man’s pizzeria.
Rounding off the conversation, Spades talks about her time dancing in California, and reminds handsy patrons that dancers wear heels.
Host Slayer remarked, “Haley was an absolute riot. I loved her stories from New Orleans and her passion for dancing. Haley is going to go to KILL on the feature scene.
“I’m sure next time she’s on she’ll have a new batch of stories for me and my audience. Hats off to her dentist who fixed her tooth after her mishap at the swingers club. if she hadn’t told me I’d have never known.”
Spades commented, “I loved how we really went deep into my hometown and my start to joining the overall adult industry. The podcast was so fun and I really enjoyed being real and authentic! And I am so very excited for my first feature dance show in just a few weeks!”
At age 18, Spades got her start in adult entertainment as an exotic dancer at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in New Orleans, before moving to the Penthouse club down the street. But when Spades turned 20, New Orleans made it unlawful for people under the age of 21 to strip.
“I started dancing around the country because I didn’t really have a choice and it was my main income.” Spades said. “I’ve danced in New York City, I’ve danced in Miami, Tampa, Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas and Chicago.”
Spades will make her feature dancing debut May 12 at The Big Apple’s incredible new Sapphire Times Square gentlemen’s club.
The young star said she is thrilled to return to New York as a feature entertainer: “New York crowds like upbeat deface music so I’m excited, that’s what I love to dance to!”
