GroobyGirls.com Wins XMA Award for ‘Trans Site of the Year’
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Trans erotica powerhouse Grooby was recognized with the “Trans Site of the Year” award at the recent XMA Awards, getting the nod for the studio’s popular membership site, GroobyGirls.com.
As Grooby noted in their announcement, this is the second year in a row the site has captured the statue for Trans Site of the Year.
“Grooby Girls is our flagship site and the site that started it all,” observed Grooby CEO Steven Grooby. “It’s still a thrill to see it win awards 28 years after its launch.”
The company’s CEO also noted that “almost every trans model working today debuted on Grooby Girls, so this award is as much for them, our tireless producers working worldwide to source the newest and best trans talent, as it is for all our staf.”
Launched in 1996, GroobyGirls.com is the industry’s longest-running trans adult site. According to the company, Grooby’s flagship site has featured over 2400 different models over the years. Driven by its daily update schedule, the site continues to be at the forefront of trans content production, nearly 30 years on since its launch.
Speaking of Grooby and awards, the Grooby-created Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs) announced the nominees for this year’s edition late last week.
“It’s been a very close call in many of these categories, but we’re excited to finally unveil our 2025 nominees,” TEA Executive Producer, Kristel Penn, said in announcing the nominees. “These selections were compiled through our open pre-nomination process and from the submissions of producers and companies in our industry. Next up we have our judging.”
Grooby first established the TEAs as an online competition, later expanding into an in-person event held at the historic Avalon theater and its connecting property, the Bardot. This year’s event will kick off with the official pre-party on March 7, with the awards program to follow on March 9. Entertainment at the event will be announced in the weeks to come.
