Grooby Unveils Zariah Aura as Official 2023 Brand Ambassador
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Grooby has announced Zariah Aura as its official 2023 Brand Ambassador, noting that Aura “made her first official appearance in the role on stage to a cheering crowd at the X3 Expo this past weekend in Hollywood.”
Aura said she has “been dreaming of working for Grooby since I started in this industry and cannot wait to show them and the world what I have to offer.”
“As a Mexican American woman, being the first form of representation for the company is a huge honor, and I take pride in that,” Aura added. “I love being a first! All jokes aside, we need to see more POC taking on visible roles in the industry. What better way than to see my Latina face on a t-shirt!”
Grooby owner Steven Grooby said he’s “extremely excited to be working with Zariah in 2023” and that the company aims to “produce some fantastic exclusive content and get her fans involved in what they’d like to see of her.”
“Zariah is not only one of the best models and performers we’ve seen over the history of our company, with versatility in almost any scene,” Grooby added, “her personality, her energy, and her humor make her someone that all our producers cannot wait to create some Grooby magic with.”
Aura made her debut in February 2022 on Grooby’s flagship site, GroobyGirls.com. In her first year in the industry, she received 13 award nominations from various adult award shows.
Aura started her career in entertainment in Colorado Springs, performing drag at the famous Club Q and winning CliQueBait in 2018, earning a coveted spot on the Royal Court. That year she also received a nomination for Breakthrough Artist of 2018.
Aura then moved to Denver where she “quickly solidified herself in their nightlife scene.” She is a proud member of one of the most prominent drag families in the country, the StaxXx Navy. Aura has been published multiple times in a variety of magazines and won the “Freshest Face of Denver Drag” Award in 2022.
In the announcement, the company noted that “both Grooby and Aura are 26 years old and on top of their game.”
“Her intention is to share with Grooby a new perspective about their audiences and offer performer outreach within the community,” the company added in the announcement. “Her position as Grooby’s Brand Ambassador will serve as a bridge between the strong foundation of the company and the vibrant creative future ahead.”
