Grooby, Manica Partner On TranzFanz, New Trans Community Platform
LOS ANGELES – Leading trans erotica brand Grooby recently announced a partnership with Manica in creating TranzFanz, the “the world’s first trans-only clips and fans platform.” The community-based platform is open to all trans performers and producers to sell their content and monetize their fans, Grooby said in a statement released Wednesday.
“Just what the world needs – another clips/fans platform!” joked Grooby CEO, Steven Grooby. “However, we think we can do better than most. We’ve listened to what the models liked about other platforms, and just as importantly what they didn’t like and worked with Manica to create a hybrid that brings the best clips and fans sites into one community platform.”
Grooby added that his company believes it “can get more revenue to the models and keep the members and fans happier.”
“Our history and expertise in the trans niche speaks for itself,” Grooby said, “and we’re very excited about this new venture.”
In its statement, Grooby said the revenue sharing structure on TranzFanz “offers some of the best profit splits in the industry, with 65% on content sales, 80% on tips, revenue share on the platform, and monthly memberships.”
“It is the only platform to give a share of sales on other model’s content when bought from your fans,” the company added in its release.
The launch of TranzFanz is just the latest in a long list of moves Grooby has made in recent years to expand beyond creating and distributing adult content. In 2017, the company took over the editorial content for Transformation, which the company describes as “the world’s most popular transgender lifestyle magazine.” The company also hosts the annual Transgender Erotica Awards (“TEAs”) in Hollywood, California.
