Grooby Launches DIY Pay Site Maker
YNOT – Transgender adult content specialist Grooby Productions has launched the Grooby Network, a do-it-yourself offering for transsexual performers who want to create, own and operate their own websites.
According to owner Steven Grooby, the network provides everything an entrepreneur needs to establish and run a site: software including design templates, servers, billing mechanism, support, customer service, an affiliate network and the ability to release content on DVD and via video-on-demand. In return for the service, Grooby said his company will take only 20 percent of the revenue generated by each site instead of the 40-50 percent revenue share T-girls pay to other programs.
Models retain complete ownership in their products, including the website, he added.
“We’re already operating solo T-girl websites for a number of girls including Amy Daly and Domino Presley,” Grooby said. “We’ve identified some issues with the way most companies run their solo transsexual websites and came up with an alternative solution.
“Many solo sites are tied with companies that are taking a big percentage to do very little, and the model still has to pay and produce the content and promote it,” he continued. “Plus, these companies often try to keep ownership of the content. Our system gives models or producers complete ownership of their content and website while giving them the support they’d expect from a company like Grooby. Nobody else even comes close to being able to offer this, and we can only do it as we have the structures in place already and a brand in GroobyBucks, which people know and trust.”
TS Michelle Austin was one of the first models to apply for a site. She said she’s excited about the possibilities.
“TheGrooby Network is an amazing new way to run and control your brand,” she said.
