Grooby Offering Free Licensed Content to Performers
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Leading trans erotica studio Grooby has announced a new initiative to “give performers the right to use their Grooby scenes on their individual fan sites.”
“We recognize the difficulties our performers face keeping their fan sites up to date and the complications (and costs) some have in getting professionally shot content,” said Grooby owner, Steven Grooby. “With that in mind, we’ve come up with a plan that we think should allow our models to profit further from their shoots with us, and to keep their members happier with extra content.”
Under the initiative, “performers who shoot with Grooby will have the ability to select their sets to be cross-posted to their individual fan sites 90 days after the scene goes live on Grooby’s websites,” the company explained in its announcement, adding that under the initiative, this content comes at “zero cost to the performer.”
Additional information and a brief set of rules regarding the initiative can be found on the Grooby website here. Performers ought to note that under the program, the free content may be used only on approved fan site platforms. Grooby’s info page about the initiative specifically mentions OnlyFans, JustForFans, and Fansly, but suggests that other platforms may be approved, as well (“or other approved fan platforms.”)
In its announcement, Grooby said the studio “will be backdating this initiative so the first new scenes will be available starting April 1, 2022,” adding that “any performer who worked with the company within the last 24 months can now request a scene from January 2022 – November 2021 to be used on their sites.”
