Adult Time’s “Grinders” Debuts on VOD, DVD This Month
MONTREAL – The Adult Time original film Grinders makes its debut on VOD and DVD this month, starting with an exclusive run on the Adult Empire network from July 12-19, after which it will be released to other streaming platforms on July 20.
A coming-of-age story filmed in the “no-rules skateboard aesthetic” of the 1990s, the film follows Lucky Fate playing a skater kid in late 90’s Los Angeles, who has the potential and talent to go far, but is “stuck in a dead-end life amongst his coterie of criminally delinquent friends,” as Adult Time puts it. After reconnecting with former high-school friend Morgan (Maya Woulfe), Lucky sees an opportunity to “start fresh with her out in Texas rather than stay and follow in the footsteps of his deadbeat dealer dad” (played by Tommy Pistol).
Directed by Ricky Greenwood, Grinders also stars Charlotte Sins, Vanna Bardot, Lilly Bell, Robby Echo and Nathan Bronson.
Speaking about the film in May, Greenwood called Grinders “one of my most exciting films” and said he was “glad to have Adult Time behind me.”
“We have a stellar cast and crew. Nathan Bronson, Robby Echo, and Lucky Fate really cranked it up many notches with the amount of time they practiced skateboarding before we even entered filming,” Greenwood added. “I was really impressed with their skills. Tommy Pistol, Lilly Bell, Charlotte Sins, Maya Woulfe, Vicki Chase and Vanna Bardot did an incredible job with their acting and performances.”
In addition to its pending release on VOD and DVD, Grinders is also available to view at GrindersFilm.com and on the Adult Time streaming platform, home to more than 60,000 scenes and 320 channels, bolstered by eight new releases per day from the network’s assorted award-winning studio brands.
