Adult Time Launches Season 2 of 80’s Throwback Series ‘Girlcore’
MONTREAL – Adult video streaming platform Adult Time announced today that it is “cranking the heat up to eleven” with a music-themed, six-episode second season of its 1980’s flashback original series Girlcore.
Created by Adult Time’s Chief Creative Officer Bree Mills and featuring episodes directed by Craven Moorehead and Whitney Wright, Girlcore Season Two “follows Season One’s fine-tuned focus on cinematic style, widescreen format and a killer ‘80s soundtrack,” Adult Time said in its announcement.
In the now-released first episode, titled “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” the series “explores the metal years as Charlotte Stokely and Katrina Jade’s band Twisted Fister goes head-to-head with Lena Paul and Karla Kush’s MegaLez in the ultimate Battle of the Bands.”
The second episode of season two, “Working for the Weekend,” Adult Time said that “two powerful Working Girls (Brandi Love and Reagan Foxx) – each with a mind for a business and a bod for sin – duke it out in the boardroom to determine who will reign supreme.”
In “She Blinded Me With Science,” the new season’s third episode, things “get weird in the lab” when Serena Blair and Cadence Lux “set out to create the perfect virtual 3D woman (Kenzie Taylor) from bits and pieces, magic, technology and pictures from a magazine” and then a “power surge creates an explosion of epic proportions.”
Mills said the Girlcore series “may be one of the best I’ve ever done.”
“We always have way too much fun when we’re working on Girlcore,” Mills said of the retro series. “Craven and Whitney did an excellent job with their four episodes, and fans will love reminiscing about an era synonymous with fun.”
Moorehad added that Girlcore “highlights what was so special” about the 80s.
“We hope that viewers appreciate the details we’ve added to make it one of the best series we’ve done to date,” Moorehead said.
