Ginger Banks Resigns as APAC Chairperson
Los Angeles, CA — In a statement released today, the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC) has announced that adult performer and cam model Ginger Banks has voluntarily resigned from their Board of Directors, effective August 27, 2018.
Only recently named Chairperson, Banks’ decision to resign was made in response to member concerns regarding her leadership.
This resignation marks the second, recent high-profile leadership changeup in APAC’s Board. Earlier this month, the organization’s then-recently appointed Director of Outreach, Lydia Dupra, stepped down from the position. Dupra’s resignation appeared to be in response to harassment and sex worker shaming allegations levied against her and APAC Secretary Siouxsie Q. James by sex worker and educator Maxine Holloway.
