YNOT – Following a successful inaugural year in 2011, adult industry message board GFY.com has opened the first nomination round for the second annual People’s Choice Awards. The awards offer industry insiders a chance to honor their peers in a variety of categories.

“[Parent company] AVN and GFY are excited to be bringing the second annual GFY Awards back toAmsterdam,” said Eric, an administrator of the online forum. “The awards show and party will be the culmination of the Webmaster Access Amsterdam event. We are looking forward to presenting the top companies in the industry with awards that are directly voted on by the adult industry, and we are extremely thankful for the sponsors of this year’s event: PussyCash, CrakRevenue and Reporo.”

The 2012 GFY Awards are segmented into 21 competitive categories which will be populated with candidates during three rounds of nominations. The first round of preliminary nominations will remain open through Sept. 1. The second round, which will determine the top 10 nominees in each category, is expected to run Sept. 1-10. Round 3, which is expected to run Sept. 11-21, will be accomplished via secret ballot in to keep the winners a mystery until the Sept. 22 ceremony at Little Buddha Bar in Amsterdam.

• Best Online Content Store
• Web Producer of the Year
• Payment System of the Year
• Best Software Company
• GFY Hall of Fame
• Most Missed Member Award
