Tomorrow: “How to Get News Coverage” Panel with “Monstar” Raymond
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – At the virtual Wondercon convention tomorrow, Star Factory PR/Media co-owner Alexander “Monstar” Raymond will “share methods creators can utilize on attaining press awareness” as a member of the event’s “How to Get News Coverage” panel.
Joining a group of entertainment professionals, Alexander will “talk about techniques and solutions that new creators can use for media placement,” Star Factory said in a statement released Friday.
“I was honored to participate in the panel,” Alexander said. “In the constantly evolving landscape of creating brand awareness, I look forward to contributing my experiences to the conversation. I believe even those not focused on the geek sphere of entertainment will find strategies to assist them.”
In its announcement, Star Factory said the panel will cover what “makes the difference between an item that will get news coverage, previews, and interviews and what doesn’t,” noting that “a lot of publishers have no idea what to submit to the press, how to submit it, or why they are being overlooked for coverage.”
Wondercon’s How to Get News Coverage panel will stream March 27 at 1 pm Pacific time on the Wondercon/San Diego Comic-Con Youtube channel.
In addition to his role at Star Factory, Raymond is “currently working on multiple comic book/horror projects that will begin to come to fruition later this year,” Star Factory said in its statement. The first of those projects is a podcast tentatively titled Monstar Presents The House of Flesh and Blood, a show that will “cover the horror genre, especially the gothic horror films of the 1960s and ’70s.”
