Gay Titan Takes Partner for Sales, Warehouse Operations
PHILADELPHIA – Gay adult content producer Titan Media and TLA Entertainment have signed a partnership agreement under which TLA will assume management of all Titan direct-to-consumer retail operations. Titan’s online store and direct-mail catalog are part of the deal.
“To say I’m thrilled is an understatement,” said Erik Schut, TLAgay’s managing director of content and marketing for. “We’ve been working with TitanMen almost since their inception. They’ve always been one of our top-selling studios, and now we’ve come full circle.
“Bucking the trend, hard goods sales continue to be vibrant with us,” Schut continued. “This truly remarkable deal allows both companies to play to their core strengths as well as flex their muscles and grow. TitanMen’s tremendous content will now be nurtured by our unparalleled marketing, sales reach and customer service capabilities. This is an industry game changer.”
In addition to assuming management of TitanMenStore.com and Titan’s mail-order catalog business, TLA also will warehouse the studio’s Blu-ray, DVD and toy inventory and fulfill wholesale orders.
“Titan has long been one of TLA’s flagship brands,” said TLA owner and Chief Executive Officer Derek Curl. “Since acquiring TLA a little over a year ago, I’ve been looking to form a partnership with one of our trusted studios. We’ve clearly found that partner, and I’m incredibly pleased that Titan is now truly part of the TLA family.”
Titan founder and CEO Bruce Cam said he was equally impressed with TLA’s new owner.
“Once I met Derek Curl in person, I knew it was perfect match,” Cam said. “With his new vision and leadership at the helm of TLA, we knew we wanted to be a bigger part of the TLA team. We look forward to a great future with TLA on our side.”
