Gay ‘Scripted Reality’ Series Debuts Online
YNOT – A scripted gay porn reality series creators call “an industry first” has debuted at CockyBoys.com. According to a spokesman for the studio, the series bends genres and blurs the lines between reality and fantasy.
Helmed by CockyBoys owner Jake Jaxson, Project GoGo Boy offers hardcore action set against a backdrop of go-go clubs in New York City and Montreal. The series follows a group of aspiring dancers as they attempt to claw their way out of obscurity and into the “top box” at a club.
In the first episode, just released, an established go-go boy (portrayed by Jake Bass), introduces viewers to the hard work and determination required to attain and keep a top-box spot. Meanwhile, his “best frenemy” (Max Ryder) tries to sleep his way to the top by cozying up to the club’s superstar DJ (Pierre Fitch).
“I truly couldn’t be happier with the way this [series] has turned out,” Jaxson said. “The entire cast and team brought their A game to the project, and it definitely shows.
“[The series] is genuinely engaging while still being seriously hot at the same time,” he added. “It’s funny, because people who have seen the trailer keep asking me if it’s real or scripted and the answer is, it’s both. If you replace ‘go-go boy’ with ‘porn star,’ then you get closer to reality.
“Are the boys’ characters a reflection of their real life personalities? Absolutely.”
In addition to Ryder, Fitch and Bass, Project GoGo Boy features Gabriel Clark, Tommy Defendi, Seth Knight, Stephen Forest and Sebastian Young.
New episodes will be posted weekly at CockyBoys.com, along with a bonus scene in which one of the players performs a private dance and a hardcore solo.
Webmasters may promote the series via the BigBling affiliate program, which pays 50-percent recurring revenue share.
