Gay 3D Sex Simulator Launches
YNOT – Pink Visual has launched a second sex simulator game, this one aimed at the gay adult market. MaleSpectrumGames.com builds on what a spokesperson called “the runaway success” of the studio’s first effort in the realm, PinkVisualGames.com, which courts heterosexual gamers who also enjoy porn.
“PinkVisualGames.com has been our best performing new product since we released our iPad-optimized site, PinkVisualPad.com, in 2010,” said Sales Director Kristin Wynters. “With each passing month, the amount spent per member on upgrades and in-game accessories has been climbing steadily. We saw that there really isn’t anything like it for the gay segment of the market, so launching a gay version of the game made perfect sense.”
Like its hetero sibling, the gay game enables players to create their own 3D porn scenarios, controlling everything from the models’ appearance and clothing to sexual positions, camera angles and locations. As players progress through the game, they can unlock new locations and features, creating an ever-deeper universe with new places to explore and new challenges to surmount.
Wynters said she “quickly became hooked” while testing the game engine before launch.
“Just like any good simulator-style game, the more you play, the more you get drawn in,” she said. “That’s what we’ve seen with the members, too. Not everybody gets into the game, but those who do get way into it.”
Pink Visual has published some of the more creative user-generated straight scenes and probably will take the same approach with gay scenarios, Wynters said.
“Sometimes it can be a little daunting when you’re first learning how to create scenes, just like playing a musical instrument can be intimidating for someone who is just starting,” she said. “Putting some finished scenes out there for people to check out gives them an idea of what’s possible and provides inspiration to learn the system and create something great of your own.”
Both games are designed to run on PCs, and both are free to download and play. Additional levels and accessories may be purchased.
