Gamma Entertainment Introduces New Virtual Currency
YNOT – Gamma Entertainment introduced a new virtual currency across its live-cam network this week. According to the company, the new tokens “provide greater value to customers” and represent the latest in a series of user-experience upgrades the network intends to implement.
“The decision to add tokens on our live sites stems directly from the members themselves,” said Gamma President Karl Bernard. “Over the past few months, we have worked together to implement their feedback and create a roadmap for our live sites that is truly dedicated to user experience.”
Although details about how the tokens will work or what sorts of benefits a virtual currency system may hold for consumers, performers and affiliates, the new payment system has been implemented across all of Gamma’s sites, including homeCams.com and PrivateFeeds.com, plus sites belonging to technology partners including Evil Angel, COLT Studio Group and Next Door Entertainment.
In concert with the tokens introduction, Gamma announced a 20-percent reduction in average show rates and a more diverse model selection, both of which undoubtedly will prove popular with consumers. homeCams director Guillaume Boisvert said the tokens have generated interest among performers, as well, particularly because the base commission rate across the homeCams Model Broadcasting Network has been increased to 40 percent.
“Our model partners have been receptive to the new tokens currency,” he said. “Models now have the ability to offer more competitive show rates, attract more paying clients and gain a better understanding of how they generate their revenue.
“Without giving away too much, tokens will pave the way for a lot of exciting new features in the coming weeks,” Boisvert added. “We are very excited to see the positive effects for our members, models and affiliate partners.”
