Gamma Entertainment Adds Google+
YNOT – Gamma Entertainment has added the Google+1 buttons feature across its network of live-cam websites. To coincide with the features launch on Monday, the company is hosting a contest to encourage webcam models to interact with Google+ users.
Google+, a new mainstream social network, has met with much enthusiasm. The contest, which runs Aug. 1-8, was designed to encourage end-users and models alike to explore new ways to interact.
“Gamma has always strived to be a technological leader in our industry, so we are excited to include this new feature across our live-cam network,” said Gamma President Karl Bernard. “By introducing Google+ to our surfers, we are also providing a powerful new tool for our cam models.”
During the promotional period, customers may vote for their favorite models at no charge. Models who receive the most “+1” votes will receive a cash bonus.
The addition of the Google +1 buttons also will influence Google search results for affiliates who employ Gamma’s live-cam white label program, according to Gamma Sales Manager Jake Live. Affiliates should see an increase in organic traffic, he said.
“Affiliates are excited about being part of the Google+ social networking phenomenon,” he noted. “We are proud to be one of the first affiliate networks to offer Google +1 buttons as a tool to compliment [search engine optimization] efforts.”
