Fundraiser For Beloved Adult Performer In ICU Seeks Support Within The Community
For the past few weeks the independent adult industry has been deeply concerned for Cattie Candescent, a performer popularly known for creating fantasy videos on ManyVids, who has been in the intensive care unit getting around the clock care only months after a tumultuous experience of losing and grieving her fiance.
While the community has gathered to provide support and assistance to the GoFundMe started by Candescent’s family, the goal for the fund has been elevated due to the increased care that is required for recovery. Her family wants to share the update that she is now in stable condition and while there is no permanent brain damage, there is nerve damage that will require physical rehabilitation to get her back on her feet and functioning again. As Cattie Candescent regains her health, her family has reached out to ask the community to help spread word about the fundraiser and additionally donate if you are able to.
“She just lost her fiance in December and now she almost lost her life, she’s been through hell in the past 6 months and I just want her to have the best chance at life once she’s able to finally come home in a few months, plus the medical bills from the hospital and the rehabilitation center are going to be astronomical,” says the organizer of the GoFundMe.
“We are beyond lucky this is a recovery fund instead of a funeral fund, we have lost so many of our fellow performers in the past few years. The efforts of companies donating to the fund as well as the fundraiser shows put on by performers goes to show that Cat is a beloved and highly respected person in our community; whatever support we can lend right now even if it’s a simple retweet can make a huge difference for Cat,” Aerie Saunders shares.
Please consider supporting the fund with donations or sharing on social media if you can’t afford to donate and help bring peace of mind to someone who is battling the odds to recover.
