FSC’s New Digital Newsletter Debuts
YNOT – Adult industry trade association Free Speech Coalition on Friday unveiled a new incarnation of its venerable weekly newsletter, “X-Press.” Delivered via email to all FSC members, the new X-Press is more user-friendly, with easier-to-navigate links to external items of which the adult industry needs to be aware.
“FSC is committed to bringing its members up-to-date information on FSC and adult industry business news,” Membership and Communications Director Joanne Cachapero said. “The updated X-Press is the latest component of communication with members.”
Along with the new look and functionality, FSC adopted a new distribution services provider: YNOT Mail. Developed specifically to serve the email needs of the adult community, YNOT Mail is a fully hosted solution that facilitates planning, testing, maintenance and tracking of marketing campaigns from start to finish. The service also helps marketers avoid email blacklists.
“Previously, we were with a well-known, mainstream email service and not too happy with them,” Cachapero said. “At FSC, we’re not the most tech-savvy folks in the industry, so when YNOT Mail offered us the opportunity to streamline our email services, we were thrilled. We feel great about using an adult industry source for this service. We appreciate YNOT, and all the industry businesses and individuals that have volunteered their services over the years.
“The YNOT Mail user interface is so easy,” she added. “Moving forward, it’s going to make a big difference when we launch newsletters for our Anti-Piracy Action Program and also for the APHSS.org [Adult Production Health and Safety Services] database program.
“FSC is committed to bringing our members the latest news and opinions on issues that affect the industry. Thanks, YNOT, for helping us do that.”
Connor Young, president of YNOT Mail parent company YNOT Group LLC, said his companies are more than happy to support FSC’s tireless efforts to protect and inform the adult entertainment industry.
“As a former member of the FSC’s board, I have had the privilege of seeing firsthand how valuable this organization is to the adult entertainment industry,” he said. “I have tremendous respect for the job [Executive Director] Diane Duke and Joanne Cachapero are doing with the organization. I can’t imagine anyone doing a better job. So, it’s no surprise that I’m pleased YNOT Mail can assist the FSC in its communication with its members and supporters.
“We’re very proud to play even this small and humble role in supporting the activities of a powerful voice for our industry,” he added.
More information about the X-Press and other FSC activities is available on the organization’s blog and it’s website, FreeSpeechCoalition.com. Members and supporters also may keep up with the FSC by following @FSCArmy on Twitter or friending “Free Speech” on Facebook.
