FSC Reveals 2013 Board Nominees
YNOT – Adult industry trade association Free Speech Coalition has unveiled the slate of 14 nominees to fill nine expiring terms on the organization’s board of directors. Nine of the candidates are incumbents; the other five are first-time nominees.
Only FSC members in good standing are eligible to vote; all members should receive a ballot through the online service Survey Monkey-Zoomerang. Incumbents are:
- Peter Acworth, founder of Kink.com
- Jeffrey Douglas, attorney and a 15-year veteran of the FSC chairman’s chair
- Mara Epstein, representative for Maia Toys
- Sid Grief, retailer and founder of AAA News
- Alec Helmy, founder and president of XBIZ
- Joel Kaminsky, president of retailer Good Vibrations
- Mark Kernes, senior editor and legal analyst for AVN; currently the board’s secretary
- Reed Lee, attorney and five-term veteran of the FSC board
- Lynn Swanson, 30-year industry vet with a background in retail, distribution and manufacturing
First-time nominees are:
- Marci Hirsch, vice president of production and licensing for Vivid Entertainment
- Amber Lynn, performer and 30-year veteran of the industry
- Moose, vice president for Girlfriends Films
- Peter Phinney, co-founder of and partner in Porn Guardian
- Mo Reese, director, producer, editor and photographer
