FSC Opens Board Nominations
YNOT – Adult industry trade association Free Speech Coalition is accepting nominations for board of directors seats opening in 2013. Nine of 13 positions in the organization’s governing body must be filled.
Nominations are accepted from FSC members only. Active members already should have received an email via Zoomerang-Survey Monkey allowing them to nominate candidates. An interactive online nomination form is available here.
The nominee’s contact information must accompany each nomination.
Candidates also must be active FSC members.
Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 11, and candidates will be announced mid-December. The election will take place during the second half of December.
“This is a great opportunity for members who would like to become more involved with the FSC, to either be nominated or vote in the upcoming election,” FSC Chief Executive Officer Diane Duke said. “Especially now, we need the support of all our members to help choose board members who will offer their insight in some of the challenges the industry faces — including Measure B, retail zoning restrictions, performer health and safety, and patent trolls.”
