FSC Names Board of Directors Candidates
YNOT – Adult industry trade association Free Speech Coalition has announced the nominees for its 2012 board of directors election. Of 13 seats on the board, four must be filled.
The candidates are Bob Christian, general manager of Adam & Eve Pictures; Larry Garland, founder and chief executive officer of ElDorado Trading Company; Christian Mann, general manager of Evil Angel Productions; Kara Price, performer and pro-industry activist; Theresa “Darklady” Reed, writer and owner of Darklady Productions; Doug Richter, CEO of Bright Guys Inc. and a senior authorized consultant for AWEmpire, and Colin Rowntree, co-founder and CEO of Wasteland.com.
Garland, Mann and Reed are incumbents. More information about all of the candidates, including position statements and brief biographies, is available on the FSC’s blog.
“One of the great things about being an FSC member is that when you vote in the board election, you have an active part in choosing who will represent the best interests of the adult industry,” Membership Director Joanne Cachapero said. “You pick the people who decide policies, give feedback and help make decisions on important issues and challenges facing the industry. FSC wishes each candidate good luck in this year’s election.”
Active FSC members will receive an electronic ballot via online survey service Zoomerang. Votes must be submitted by Dec 24. Winners will be announced during the first week in January, Cachapero said.
Any active FSC member who does not receive a ballot by Dec. 12 should email Cachapero or call 818-348-9373.
