FSC Mounts Survey about APHSS
YNOT – Adult Production Health & Safety Services, which is operated by adult industry trade organization Free Speech Coalition, has designed a survey to gather feedback about the APHSS testing program from performers, producers and agents. FSC staff is in the process of sending the survey to industry members who have signed up for APHSS services.
The survey is multiple choice, providing those who complete the online form at Zoomerang an opportunity to voice their opinions about APHSS and the testing facilities it recommends. According to FSC Membership Director Joanne Cachapero, information collected by the project will be used to improve the testing program in an effort to provide the best possible health-testing solution for performers and other participants.
All information gathered will be kept completely confidential, Cachapero said.
“We want to reach out to the performers, producers and agents, to get feedback on their experience with APHSS,” she said. “So we encourage everyone that receives the survey to please take the time to respond. Those responses will help to further develop a program that serves the needs of the industry and the best testing experience for APHSS members.”
APHSS was founded in 2011 to provide confidential, reliable, adult-entertainment-industry-specific testing for sexually transmitted infections and other health concerns. The organization maintains a list of participating clinics nationwide that perform the monthly health screenings most studios require of performers before allowing them to work. In addition, APHSS maintains a secure database of test results, which member studios, producers and directors may consult to determine a performer’s compliance with voluntary best practices within the industry.
