FSC to Hold Members’ Briefing on Legislative Work Dec. 4
The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has announced the organization will hold a members’ briefing on Monday, December 4 on “the fight for industry rights in statehouses and Congress.”
According to the announcement, the briefing “will go into updates on age-verification laws, the fight against banking discrimination, and related efforts,” including the current status of age-verification laws globally; status updates on FSC’s legal battles in Texas, Utah and Louisiana; new federal and state bills expected for 2024; new developments in the fight for banking fairness and “ways members can get involved” in the effort to support and protect the adult entertainment industry’s rights.
“In January, state legislators will begin a new legislative session, and many are planning on introducing new laws that affect our industry and our rights,” said Mike Stabile, FSC Director of Public Affairs. “We’ve learned a lot in the past year, and with the help of our members, we’ve become a more powerful force. This is a chance for members to find out what’s happening behind the scenes, ask questions about the bills and our strategy, and get involved in the fight.”
The briefing is open to current Free Speech Coalition members. FSC Members can register for the event here. For more information on FSC, major issues facing the adult industry and the organization’s work to support and protect the industry, go to FreeSpeechCoalition.com.
