FSC Emergency Fund Disbursement Update
The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has issued the following status update regarding its emergency fund.
The organization stated it’s “about 20K from being able to make another round of disbursements.” In addition, the FSC is “still waiting to hear back on a few dozen applicants who have been approved but have not yet confirmed payment information.”
The update can be read in full on the FSC’s website here and has been reposted below.

FSC Emergency Fund Disbursements
As of April 15, 2020
Total raised: $115,000
Total applicants: 489
Total disbursed: $60,000 to 200 people (in progress)
The FSC Emergency Fund helps talent and crew who can’t work during the COVID-19 production hold.
To date we have received almost 500 applications and raised $115,000, with another $5,000 in pledged donations. This includes the $20,000 in matching funds from Pornhub.
For us to send checks to all eligible applicants, we will need to raise an additional $30,000 beyond the currently pledged donations. To be able to reopen the application for financial relief, we will need to raise even more than that.
We are still in the process of distributing the first 200 checks. We have sent checks to 163 people but have been unable to confirm payment information for 37 people. They need to reply to the email we sent to the address they provided with their application. If we don’t hear from them by Friday 4/17, we will put their names back into the pool and reallocate those funds to other verified applicants.
Next week, we will notify the next 100 applicants eligible to receive a $300 check.
If you have not yet been notified that you will be receiving a check, please be patient. We are working as quickly as we can to get these funds sent to talent and crew.
