FSC Board Elects New Officers
CANOGA PARK, Calif. – Thanks to the retirement of one previous member and the shuffling of others after the annual general election in December, the Free Speech Coalition’s board of directors has a few new officers.
Attorney Jeffrey Douglas will continue to serve in the position he has held for many years: chairman of the board. Also continuing in roles they have held for a while are AVN Senior Editor Mark Kernes as secretary and Adam & Eve General Manager Bob Christian as treasurer.
Evil Angel Productions General Manager Christian Mann, formerly the board’s vice president, has assumed the role of president, replacing AAA News founder Sid Grief, who has retired from the adult industry. Eldorado Trading Company Chief Executive Officer Larry Garland will assume the vice president’s position.
The remainder of the board consists of trade journal publisher Alec Helmy, Pipedream Products Director of Sales Lynn Swanson, Good Vibrations owner Joel Kaminsky, attorney Reed Lee, Kink.com founder Peter Acworth, Vivid Entertainment Vice President Marci Hirsch, ATMLA owner Mark Schechter and MoXXX Productions owner Mo Reese.
The Free Speech Coalition acts as the “voice” of the U.S. adult entertainment industry. The organization serves as a watchdog guarding the industry against unconstitutional and oppressive government regulation. It also provides business resources to facilitate success in a challenging environment.
