FSC Announces Membership Meeting: January 12th in Las Vegas at Treasure Island
CANOGA PARK, CA – The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has announced that it will hold a general membership meeting Friday, January 12th at the Treasure Island hotel and casino. The meeting will be held in Treasure Island’s Polo Room, suites 701 and 702.Margarita and salsa bars will open at 5:00 pm, followed by the meeting itself, which will be moderated by FSC Board member and executive director of the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP), Joan Irvine.
According to the FSC press release, the following topics are on the agenda for the meeting:
• An introduction of the new Executive Director of the FSC, Diane Duke.
• Announcement of the FSC Board election results
• Detailing of new benefits for FSC members
• An address on Utah’s “Child Protection Registry” by attorney Greg Piccionelli
• A 2257 litigation update from FSC Board Chairman Jeffrey Douglas
The FSC’s federal lobbyist from Washington, DC, Robert Raben, has also been invited to attend and to address the meeting, but it is not clear from the FSC press release whether Raben will attend, and/or give an address.
“The Free Speech Coalition would like to thank the adult entertainment community for its valued support over the years, especially our members,” the FSC states in its press release. “As our influence continues to grow in Washington, DC and throughout the country, we need to hear from you, and interact with you more than ever.”
The FSC encourages members and non-members alike to attend the meeting.
