YNOT – I recently spent an hour with Christy Canyon on her Sirius/XM Radio “Legends of Porn” program, co-hosted by Rebecca Bardoux. The experience was fun, but not as exciting as I would have liked: I was on the phone at my San Diego condo while the ladies were in the Playboy studio in Porn Valley. Bummer!

Unlike one past in-studio appearance during which Christy, Ginger Lynn and I messed around with each other’s genitals for most of the hour, the recent show was a fast-paced hour during which we covered a lot of matters related to porn, sex and past happenings. Listeners calling in to the program seemed to be enjoying themselves and their fantasies, too.

My attendance at January’s Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas was a nice getaway from the hectic pace of everyday work. It seemed like a class reunion where everybody hugged the girls, and the girls looked like goddesses. Hosted this year at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, AEE provided a venue that conveniently facilitated business, girl-gawking and seminars, and offered a meeting place for everyone involved with adult entertainment — and, of course, the treasured and appreciated fans.

Yes, sex was in the air. People were smiling and happy to see each other, and, in spite of the piracy which has brought many to their knees, porn is still attracting new participants and consumers. I was humbled by seeing so many new actresses whom I didn’t know, while wondering how many of them will still be actively involved next year. Maybe the courts, legislation and copyright infringement enforcement are picking up steam in a way that might alleviate the present piracy challenges.

Have you noticed an increase in the availability of live web cam shows and the corresponding increase in unemployed people who have become models? I have! Instead of only younger adults seeking model positions, it seems like applicants of all ages and niches are now seeking work in front of cams. I think the variety provides nice choices for customers, especially those who want some reality to balance the younger, perfect bodies. I admire the cam newcomers who grab the opportunity to put bread on their table instead of seeking government handouts. Movies often sell fantasy, so I applaud the cam models that also provide stress-relieving fantasies for their customers. Yes, I think masturbation is good for men, women, and couples.

The new Veterans Administration National Cemetery that recently opened adjacent to a San Diego Marine Corps base is very busy. Lots of military retirees and veterans are choosing it as their final resting place. I personally want to be buried there, and as a 25-year U.S. Army member, I have made my wishes known. I wonder if I can have my headstone engraved with my birth name alongside my Dave Cummings stage name. I need to look up the regulations on that and, if authorized, document that wish, too. The cemetery is located at the end of a busy runway where fighter jets and other military aircraft take off and touch down frequently.

Have you looked at your cable, phone or energy bill lately and noticed all the add-on fees and taxes? Yikes. Our presently challenging economy needs help, not all these BS extra charges. I hope legislators at all levels will challenge these obstacles to the health of the economy; same for all the rules and regulations heaped upon us, many of which need to be reexamined and revalidated, or eliminated. Our economy needs to have the handcuffs banned.

Speaking of banning, I heard on the late-night news that the California legislature is considering a bill to ban cell phone texting while walking. Twice today while doing my boardwalk exercise walk, I had to dodge people who were texting or reading their mobile devices and walked right into me. Two days ago, I witnessed a bicyclist looking down at her phone and crashing into a seawall. Somebody will get hurt if we don’t start being more conscious of our surroundings. Incidentally, the bicyclist looked like she had 36DD cushions protecting her chest during her crash.

I enjoyed some non-swinger/non-groupie sex recently with two females who wanted to see what it was like to seduce a porn guy. Bottom line: I “cooperated” during the seducing, and we all had a satisfying, but exhausting, time. Note: Neither woman was under 30 years old, and the sex was great.

Drive safely, use sun-block, practice safe sex and be nice to others just for the sake of being nice.
