Friday is ‘The Last Day’ at Lucas Entertainment
YNOT – Lucas Entertainment’s latest big-budget, shot-on-location flick has debuted on the studio’s website. The Last Day, an apocalyptic gay adult thriller lensed on the isle of Ibiza, stars Jonathan Agassi, Will Helm, Kriss Aston and Damien Crosse and features Rafael Carreras, Issac Jones, Bruno Fernandez Gutierrez and newcomer Adriano Carrasco.
The story begins with Lucas exclusive Agassi arriving by boat on a beautiful Mediterranean island. To his surprise, the town is completely deserted: streets empty, beaches cleared and stores abandoned as if in mid-day everyone simply disappeared. As the plot unfolds, Agassi realizes a few men remain on the island, but all communication has been cut off as part of a crazed killer’s plot to gain media immortality.
Sex, of course, ensues, woven among the trapped island inhabitants’ fight for survival.
“Following up on the amazing success of Assassin last year, we had to raise the stakes even higher,” said scriptwriter and co-director Marc MacNamara. “There’s nothing bigger than the threat of the end of the world. But apocalypse stories have been done many times before, so we had to bring a fresh and exciting twist to the audience.
“The sex is incredibly intense because they are fucking like there’s no tomorrow, and the action is thrilling and powerful to watch because on this beautiful island, they are battling to survive,” he continued. “This is passion with reason, intensity with cause; it’s adventure and sex on a heightened level.”
In Part 1, available Friday on LucasEntertainment.com, Helm and Aston show Agassi a taped broadcast that reveals scientists searching for the God Particle at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland. According to the video, the experiments destabilized the Earth’s core so much that the planet is destined to explode. Determined to live their last day to the fullest, the men embark upon a hedonistic adventure.
“The Last Day is a heart-pounding ride that has you on the edge of your seat as it unfolds,” Lucas Entertainment President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Lucas said. “Damien Crosse brilliantly plays a sexy and crazed villain like no one else. And the protagonist, Jonathan Agassi, is a tough and hot fighter who uses everything he has, literally, in the battle of this smart and edgy thriller.”
A behind-the-scenes making-of video is here. A DVD is due March 30.
