Founder of Wicked Pictures to Appear on YNOTRadio’s “AVN Afternoons”
CHATSWORTH, CA – This week’s edition of AVN Afternoons will feature special guest Steve Orenstein, founder and president of Wicked Pictures. The show, co-hosted by AVN Online Senior Editor MJ McMahon and former Penthouse Pet Aimee Sweet, airs live at 4:00pm EST every Thursday on YNOTRadio.com.“It’s quite a pleasure to welcome one of the most influential and visionary men in the industry to ‘AVN Afternoons,’” says McMahon. “Considering that Steve is a relatively private person, we consider this something of a coup.”
“I’m ecstatic to have Steve Orenstein on our show,” adds Sweet. “We’re going to be able find out about the future of Wicked and the market in general from one of the people who helped make it what it is today.”
Wicked, which Orenstein founded in 1993, has risen to prominence making adult features in a market that is increasingly populated with gonzo videos, so-called “reality porn,” and other manners of adult video which are typically light on both plot and production quality.
Popular stars who have been featured in Wicked productions, and in some cases signed to exclusive arrangements with Wicked, include Stephanie Swift, Devinn Lane, Serenity, Jessica Drake, Julia Ann, and adult superstar Jenna Jameson.
In addition to its guests, AVN Afternoons features a weekly trivia contest for its listeners, with prizes provided by show sponsors and advertisers. This week, Wicked is giving away a prize package featuring a copy of the AVN Award-winning title Camp Cuddly Pines and the soon-to-be-released Brad Armstrong feature Curse Eternal, plus Wicked t-shirts and hats.
