Biology teacher Tiffany Shepherd was fired from her job at Port St. Lucie High School in April 2008 when pictures surfaced of her posing in a bikini. Since losing that job, and also losing custody of two of her three children to her ex-husband, Shepherd has turned to adult entertainment to pay the bills.”I’m not particularly proud of it. To be honest, I hate it,” Shepherd told Page2live.com. “I’m an educated woman, but I never thought it would come to this. No one gets brought up thinking they’ll be a floozy.”

Shepherd, who now goes by the screen name Leah Lust, sent out more than 2,500 resumes to schools without finding a single position – despite the fact that math and science teachers are so in-demand, some states are paying bonuses to new hires in these two subjects.

So Shepherd turned to porn after getting advice from the man who owns the boat where the infamous bikini pictures were shot.

“We sat down with her and told her she’d never get a teaching job again,” said Captain Coombes, who also owns an adult Web cam studio with his wife. “So I told her, use ‘em before they fall to the ground. But God, does she need to work on her acting.”

Shepherd has shot a number of hardcore feature films, generally playing the part of a schoolteacher or wife next door.

Although Shepherd would rather be using her college degree to teach instead of shoot porn, she said the adult industry has conducted itself well.

“It’s very professional,” says Shepherd. “Everyone’s tested — for venereal diseases and AIDS — and I’m carrying around my little piece of paper that says I’m fine. They love me because I take care of myself and I don’t run out to party with my money.”
