Former BBW Starlet Charged with Murder

YNOT – Jennifer Marchant, better known in the adult entertainment industry as former plus-sized performer Scarlett Rouge, has been charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of her boyfriend. She is being held without bail in upstate New York.
According to the New York Daily News, Marchant, 23, was arrested after she allegedly stabbed Ralph Stone in the neck with a kitchen knife. Police and paramedics responding to a 911 call at Marchant’s North Tonawanda, NY, apartment discovered Stone bleeding from a single wound and pronounced him dead shortly thereafter.
Stone was the father of Marchant’s 2-year-old daughter.
No motive has been proposed, though the stabbing may have resulted from a domestic dispute. Police said both Marchant and Stone have a history of arrests.
Marchant pleaded not guilty, calling the stabbing an act of self-defense.
Stone’s mother admitted the couple had a volatile relationship, but for the most part, she told The Examiner, “they got along well.”
“To know him is to love him,” Michele Stone said. “He was just a fun-loving kid with a really big heart. He worshipped his daughter. She was premature and he was there all the time. [Stone and Marchant] had a few spats, but every relationship does.
“[Marchant] came for Christmas,” Michele Stone added. “She seemed like a real nice girl.”
Before she left the industry in August 2012, Marchant appeared in almost two dozen scenes for the BBW website Plumper Pass. She also performed in multiple DVD productions for Sensational Video.
