Flying Stripper Boot Results in Clogged Nostril and Lawsuit
AKRON, OH — Yusuf Evans probably wouldn’t have minded getting a face full of his favorite stripper – but being hit in the face by her flying boot was apparently not on his strip club “To Do” list. Filing a lawsuit against the club in question, however, rapidly rose to the number one position.Evans, being one of those many men who don’t normally visit strip clubs but somehow got talked into it by a visiting relative, probably doesn’t have a favorite stripper. Given the fact his trip to the XTC nightclub ultimately put him under the surgeon’s knife, chances are good he won’t develop a favorite stripper for a while – and it will not be Tiara, the girl whose boots can’t stay on her feet.
Tiara is said to have been indulging in a “demonstrative kick” when her 1970’s-style platform boot propelled itself off of her foot and into 37-year-old Evans’ face. Since then he’s racked up $25,000 worth of injuries that will need surgery.
“That was my first time ever there,” he told The Beacon Journal. My nose got chipped on one side and I constantly lose the ability to breathe out of one nostril; the passageway gets clogged.”
Evans’ injuries took place last year and he’s been unable to breath properly ever since, thus prompting the filing of his lawsuit against the XTC management, whom he contends allowed Tiara and other dancers to wear improper garments and perform acts that turn the stage into “a hazardous area.”
