Feds Charge Adult Video Purveyor with Obscenity
MARTINSBURG, WV — A federal grand jury on May 20th indicted an Indiana man for sending obscene materials through the mail and interstate distribution of obscene materials.Loren Jay Adams, 45, of Indianapolis, was arrested Wednesday. At the same time, FBI agents seized three videos from one of the three businesses he is alleged to own: Hard2Find Videos, L&J and L and J.
According to the indictment, the alleged offenses occurred in February 2008 when Adams shipped videos from Indianapolis to Martinsburg, WV.
Although the government has not specified which videos formed the basis for the indictment, Hard2Find Videos’ website at CreampieMILFSluts.com includes at least one video that incorporates fisting scenes. Fisting is one of the so-called “extreme” sexual behaviors that in the past has been labeled as potentially problematic for the adult entertainment industry.
The government is seeking forfeiture of assets belonging to Adams, including all property derived from profits or other proceeds obtained from or used to commit the alleged offenses. Adams faces a maximum prison sentence of five years on each of the counts.
