Farrah Abraham: ‘I’m Not a Porn Star’
LOS ANGELES – Despite significant evidence to the contrary, former MTV Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham swears she is not a porn star.
Vivid Entertainment reportedly paid Abraham a cool $1 million for rights to the “leaked” sex tape starring her and James Deen, who is anything but hesitant to call himself a porn star. Based on the success of the tape, Abraham subsequently signed a deal with Topco Sales to design and market a signature line of sex toys, some of which were molded from her own private parts. The line is due for release in January.
Yet when TheGloss.com interviewed Abraham at gentlemen’s club Vivid Cabaret in Los Angeles, she told the reporter she’s “not about that anymore.”
“I am not a porn star,” Abraham told The Gloss. “I’m going to be done doing adult gentlemen’s clubs and eXXXotica Expo soon, you know. At first I loved doing that, meeting new fans that appreciated me as being on Teen Mom and having a sex video that was out. Now I feel like it’s gotten too far and I just kinda want to be done with that.
“I think going out and doing some of these things are fun, but when it gets to a point when it’s not fun, it’s more distracting, I’m not about that anymore,” she added.
Never fear: Non-porn-star Abraham hasn’t given up the adult business quite yet.
According to The Gloss, “Miss Abraham has appearances booked up until November at nightclubs and gentlemen’s clubs and an eXXXotica Expo in New Jersey. There is still plenty of time to see her bask in the nightlife world.”
Meanwhile, on Abraham’s website a rebranding of sorts has begun:

[/QUOTE]Whether Abraham is a porn star may be open to debate, given her continued milking of the adult industry for revenue and attention, but one thing appears certain: If Abraham wrote her online bio, the people who worked behind the scenes on her bestselling autobiography, My Teenage Dream Ended (August 2012, MTV Press), deserve a round of applause.
