Fantasy Digital Launches New Direct Messaging Feature
VANCOUVER, BC – Fantasy Digital has announced the launch of a new Direct Messaging feature on the platform, designed to “offer creators more control, enhanced monetization opportunities, and a seamless way to connect with their fans,” the company said.
“The current version of our messaging system includes a variety of settings that allow creators to customize how fans can start a conversation,” Fantasy Digital said in announcing the new feature. “Fans can initiate a chat by sending a one-time tip, making it easier for creators to monetize their interactions. Additionally, creators have the option to limit messaging to followers only, paying subscribers only, or keep it open to everyone, providing flexibility to tailor to their personal preferences.”
In what the platform termed a “unique feature” of the new direct messaging function, “creators can set up a Gift Shop item to offer access to their DMs. This allows fans to pay a custom fee for a designated duration of chat time.” The platform said the feature is “particularly useful for those who want to offer exclusive access in a controlled manner.”
“For Findom creators, we offer an enhanced tribute feature,” the platform added in the announcement. “Their subs can be blocked, preventing any direct messages, with an option to request a payment to unlock the chat. Muted users can still send messages, but these will not be visible to the creator, nor will they trigger any notifications, allowing creators to filter out noise without completely shutting off communication.”
To get started with the new feature, creators “simply need to visit their settings dashboard and enable the chat feature on their profile,” the company noted, saying the straightforward setup “ensures that creators can immediately start utilizing the new messaging system to engage with their audience.”
Fantasy Digital said the platform is “committed to continuous improvement,” adding that the next version of the messaging feature “will support sending images, videos and audio, enriching the interaction experience.”
“Furthermore, we are planning to introduce new features such as end-to-end encryption, enhanced reporting tools, group DMs and more,” the company added.
