Fan.Reviews Offers ‘Trust Scores’ for Online Content Creators
New York, NY — Fans can now post reviews for online content creators – including creators on adult and sex media sites. Fan.Reviews is a new place for online, “mainstream” exposure for adult performers and creators alongside “vanilla” celebrities.
Fan.Reviews is free platform that anyone can use to create fan review pages for their favorite creators, then others can join in and add reviews and ratings up to 5-stars. Creators can certify and claim their review pages and can leave notes for fans and replies to reviews. The platform is “mainstream” but is (allegedly, for now) adult-friendly, with badges that help categorize content into adult and non-adult in nature.
The site is being advertised as “the TrustPilot/Yelp for the Creator Economy,” and Fan.Reviews is seeing early adopters in Onlyfans and Patreon models. Models are using the site to encourage potential fans to subscribe and join their communities. The platform currently claims to support all creators across any platform, adult or otherwise. Models like Nora Devot are even including their Fan.Review link in their LinkTree or social media bios.
“Allowing past subscribers to leave a positive review has been extremely powerful, and it builds trust amongst fans,” said one un-cited creator about Fan.Reviews. “It’s the fastest and most trustworthy way for fans to leave feedback on my content.”
In order to protect against spammers, bullying and fake reviews, the site has built-in security features. These allow reviews to be flagged by anyone in the community and employ an entire moderation team, mitigating abuse and spam.
Fan.Reviews has a comprehensive 5-star review system with abilities to add badges to reviews such as “PPV” or “No Nudity.” This helps fans know what they are subscribing to before paying. The platform said they are building capabilities for creators to interact with fans, such as replying to reviews or pinning reviews to the top of their feed.
