YNOT – Affiliate network FameDollars has added a new tool to the websites under its umbrella. Called “visual scrubber,” the enhancement comprises a set of controls that allow users to employ high-speed thumbnail navigation between scenes in any video.
The feature is available in free tours and members areas.
“In line with our continued efforts to enhance existing features and upgrade user interaction with our sites, visual scrubbing offers surfers the option to browse through our scenes easily with on-screen visual cues showing different action at different stages,” said Magalie Rheault, FameDollars’ director of product development. “Members can then quickly isolate the scene they want to watch and start the movie there.”
Behavioral data indicates the percentage of surfers scrolling and clicking the video timeline is high, she added.
“We are very proud to incorporate this new feature on our our sites,” said Karl Bernard, president of FameDollars parent company Gamma Entertainment. “Our utmost goal is always to find ways to improve the experience of our users.”
FameDollars pays $35 per membership sale or trial, or up to 50-percent recurring revshare.
