YNOT – FameDollars, one of Montreal-based Gamma Entertainment’s affiliate programs, has completed a series of technology upgrades to the adult websites in its portfolio. Video on the sites is now available in 15 formats and sizes to suit almost any viewer on any device with any operating system.

“We really wanted to diversify our offer and follow the market’s needs,” said Magalie Rheault, Gamma’s director of product development. “Hence, we added full [high-definition] and portable formats in our gamut and made bigger formats with better quality.

“It’s also an excellent conversion tool for us, since we specifically present each option directly on the player and, of course, some are only available for the members.

“Aside from expanding our formats, we’ve changed and upgraded the whole player itself,” she added. “It’s now enhanced for full user experience. We are really proud to be pushing this live on all our sites.”

To serve what Rheault called “FameDollars’ growing mobile user base,” all upgrades are iPad-, tablet- and smartphone-compatible. Members may choose downloading and streaming alternatives to suit their preferences.

The list of available video formats includes downloadable Windows Media, MP4 and webHD files in two aspect ratios each, plus streaming video and mobile video in multiple MP4 and webHD aspect sizes. The webHD files may be viewed in sizes up to 1920 x 1080, depending upon the viewer’s equipment.
