Fake Employer Lures Urine Samples from Female Applicants
OMAHA, NE — Omaha may be famous for its steak, but at least one local is likely to become more famous for his gal. While pretending to be an employer seeking workers for T-Mobile cell phone services, an astonishingly bold 36-year-old man was able to successfully convince female applicants to not only visit his home over a period of 18 months — but also convince them to give him a urine sample while they were there.
Found guilty on Thursday of two counts of criminal impersonation, the reasons behind Kevin Oliver’s deception remain a mystery to Omaha city prosecutor Marty Conboy, although piss freaks the world over might hazard a guess.
“To this day, we don’t know what his ultimate goal was, but whatever it was, it was deceptive, it was damaging, and it was protracted,” Conboy observed, adding that “This went on for 18 months — that we know of.”
Oliver does not appear to have engaged in any other illegal activity and will serve eight days in jail and 18 months on probation, with credit for time already served.
