SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The annual Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo is geared up for its 27th run this weekend at the Cow Palace in San Francisco and this year’s event boasts a list of musical headliners, adult stars, and other performers to match any lineup in the sexy soiree’s storied history of special guests.Saturday night’s musical performers will include funk legend George Clinton, synth-pop pioneer Thomas Dolby, hip-hop stalwarts Naughty By Nature and “Trance Goddess” DJ Sandra Collins, and special guest emcee Flavor Flav.

The Ball also promises the “largest contingent of adult video starlets and performers ever to visit the San Francisco Bay Area,” according to a press release issued Monday. Adult stars Tera Patrick, Devinn Lane, and Violet Blue will be among those making stage appearances, performing, and signing autographs this weekend.

“Having George Clinton join the already star-studded musical line-up once again proves that the Exotic Erotic Ball will always maintain its tradition of providing the very best musical performances for its participants,” said Paul Nathan, entertainment director for the Ball.

According to the press release, the Exotic Erotic Expo is open to the public on Friday, October 27th, from 2:00pm – 10:00pm and on Saturday, October 28th from noon to 6:00pm. The Expo will also be open to Ball attendees during the Ball itself, which takes place Saturday from 8:00pm to 2:00am.

In addition to the headliners, other performers will include Austin-based vocalist LZ Love, DJ Trevor Simpson of San Francisco’s 92.7 FM, rock band Smash Up Derby and BDSM metal band X-Rated Porno Machine.

On top of the musical acts, attendees will be treated to a performance by “Leonid the Magnificent,” an “internationally acclaimed performance artist… who makes Liberace look like a long shoreman,” according to the press release.

Nathan emphasizes that this year’s show is bringing in talent from all over the world to join in the Ball’s celebration of eroticism.

“This year, we’re flying in performers from Berlin, London, Japan, and Amsterdam,” Nathan said. “We’ve got Dutch Playmate and Fetish Model Ancilla Tilia who will perform her internationally-acclaimed erotic shaving show, we’ve got gender bending excitement from Fudgie Frottage, we’re bringing in the Torture King from the ‘Jim Rose Side Show’ in Vegas, and Rebecca from Rebecca’s Rubber Room is joining us from Miami.”

As with the performers, attendees from the world over are expected, as well, says Ball producer Howard Mauskopf.

“We’ve got a motorcycle caravan coming from NYC, party buses coming from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and for those attending the Expo, we’re even running shuttles from BART,” said Mauskopf. “We’ve added goodie bags, an amazing series of trapeze acts, and two special exhibits feature erotic art. This is going to be a spectacular show!”

Nathan notes that the Ball “has never been a passive event.”

According to the release, Expo activities will include same sex marriages during Friday night, panel discussions on First Amendment rights, wine tastings with adult film stars, a spiritual oasis with psychic readings and massage, hypnosis seminars, body painting, an erotic art exhibition, a classic adult cinema, and a human petting zoo.

“It is a totally immersive environment, with intoxicating visuals, deliberately choreographed to tease and tantalize every one of the five senses,” Nathan added. “This year, we’re going a step further, and I can safely promise that anyone attending the 2006 Exotic Erotic Ball is in for an unprecedented experience, as they will see things they have never seen before.”
