VAN NUYS, CA — It’s nearly the 4th of July, the government-mandated holiday during which the nation celebrates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and its role in breaking free from the Kingdom of Great Britain’s rule. While some may wonder what became of our much-lauded freedoms and independence, director Evil Angel has decided to Defend Our Porn — and help fund company owner John Stagliano’s fight against the forces of censorship.Designed to highlight the work of Evil Angel directors, Defend Our Porn also pays homage to then-director Jules Jordan — and refreshes both memories and libidos by showcasing 16 of the company’s juiciest scenes in one three-disc compilation set.

Streeting on July 3rd, Defend Our Porn was the brainchild of Evil Angel director Christoph Clark. Now a marketable reality, each previously released scene has been personally selected by the director responsible – including Jordan.

In addition to providing fans with some of the hottest Evil Angel footage ever shot, the three-disc set also allows them to contribute to Stagliano’s ongoing battle against the Department of Justice’s so-called “War on Obscenity,” which officially put the multiple-award winning producer/director in its cites on April, 2008, when Milk Nymphos, Storm Squirters 2, and a Belladonna: Fetish Fanatic 5 were earned obscenity charges against Stagliano and his company.

Defend Our Porn, as an organization, was founded in order to advance a defensive legal fund – and DefendOurPorn.org was launched soon after for Stagliano to stay in touch with his supporters and offer articles on the topic of obscenity to those wondering what the hell is going on.

“We received a tremendous amount of support from friends, colleagues, and fans who asked what they could do to help,” general manager Chris Norman explains in a company press release. “John didn’t want to accept any offers of monetary donations, because a prosecution like this has always been a possibility and he was willing to accept that and face the legal fight.”

In order to contribute to the fund, all proceeds from Defend Our Porn will go toward defending Evil Angel against the federal indictments. Any funds remaining at the end of the case will be used to continue the fight the government’s true domestic war – against pornography in general.

“I feel that this is perfect,” director/performer, who appears in two scenes on the three-disc set, Belladonna observes in a press release. “When I heard about the charges, I wanted to do something to help John and Evil Angel. There are a lot of fans that want to do something to help John and this DVD gives them a chance to get an excellent DVD for their money that they wanted to donate. It’s also a great way to get the word out about what’s going on.”

All told, viewers will purchase 16 scenes and more than 10 hours of quality Evil Angel entertainment. Those worried that contributing to a notorious pornographer’s defense fund might somehow be a sign that they support an industry that oppresses women need not fear, given that Stagliano’s wife, Karen, assures that “I personally know quite a few of the girls in the scenes in this movie, and all of them have a love for expressing their sexuality and enjoying being a performer in porn. I truly believe that their love and enjoyment for what they’re doing is a highlight in their scenes.”

Stagliano the feminine would know – Karen does more than talk the talk both within the industry and on this special offering; she appears in its final slot with Derrick Pierce in a scene she directed with Jay Sin. Given that Tricia Deveraux, Stagliano’s performance name, has not worked in front of the camera for nine years; this new scene of sexual submission, complete with spanking, dildos, and anal toys, is well worth savoring and collecting.
