Europeans Blow Holes in Lap Times at YNOT Grand Prix
PRAGUE, Czech Republic – At the end of the final YNOT Grand Prix for the 2014 season, Europeans held the gold, silver, and bronze trophies. The first-place finisher positively scorched the track, laying rubber all over the other drivers.
“The race was awesome,” said Jay Kopita, YNOT Group LLC vice president and race coordinator since the first run in 2010. “One hundred people showed up, and 75 of them drove. It was amazing.”
At the end of the ferocious competition, Domenick from Czech Cash held the winning lap time of 1:24:21 on a long track. According to Kopita, none of the other racers could see Domenick’s rear wheels.
“No one was even close,” Kopita said. “Krischen from SexGoesMobile took second…a very, very distant second. Lars from 69Cash took third.
“The competition was brutal,” Kopita continued. “Lots of crashes, no flags thrown, bumpy track, bumpy karts, tired arms. Some dropped out of the race altogether after the practice round. Everyone had a blast, though, including the spectators.”
Til from Lazeeva received a special honorable mention award for his performance, as did Therese from PlugRush.
“Til went from last to fourth in the final race after an early crash,” Kopita said. “He was the never-say-die driver on the track. Therese was the only female finalist and a fan favorite. She was fierce. I predict she’ll be the first woman to place in a future YNOT Grand Prix.”
Food, transportation, and racing were excellent, thanks to the generosity of presenting sponsor JuicyAds and corporate sponsors Dating Factory, FNCash, Badoink, Paxum, RIVCash and WebcamWiz.
The 2015 YNOT Grand Prix international championship series of kart racing will begin early next year. More details about the series and sponsorship opportunities is available on the race’s website, YNOTgp.com.
