CARTAGENA, Colombia – Erotic model, popular television guest and adult performer Esperanza Gomez will host the inaugural LALexpo Awards.

“Esperanza is by far the most popular Latin porn star in the world,” said Anthony AJ, one of the partners who own the event. “She has become so beloved by fans that she is considered one of the top mainstream Latin celebrities.”

According to XVideos, Gomez is the No. 1 porn star in Latin America and No. 7 in the world with over 180 million views and 37 million profile hits. Orgasmatrix named her the “Most Popular Latin Porn Star in the World” three years in a row; in the 2015 poll, she received almost 30 percent of the overall vote. Her video on Latin tube site ServiPorno has been viewed more than 35 million times.

Gomez has appeared on covers and inside layouts in Playboy’s Mexican and Argentinian editions and was Miss Playboy TV Latin America in 2005. She also appeared on covers and in centerfolds for Hombre and the Mexican mainstream magazines Domingo and Metro. In addition, she hosted and served as the spokesperson for the 20^th anniversary Venus show.

She has appeared on popular TV shows in Chile, Argentina and Colombia. The YouTube upload of her appearance on the Mexican TV show Mojoe reached 1.2 million views in less than 10 days. Gomez starred in a music video for a new Sony Music artist, and the video climbed to No. 1 in Colombia, No. 3 in Chile, No. 4 in Argentina, No. 12 in Mexico and No. 21 in the U.S.
