ePlay’s “Sub Club” Offers Subscription Revenue for Streamers
Adult streaming platform ePlay is encouraging creators on the platform – and those who have yet to join – to take advantage of the site’s “Sub Club” feature to boost their earnings on the platform. Sub Club is a subscription component, offering fans on the platform the ability to access recorded content when their favorite ePlay content creators aren’t streaming live.
“There are subscriptions for everything from razor blades to pet food because they help offer the consumer precisely what they want when they want it,” noted ePlay’s Heather K in a recent blog post. “They are a big hit with consumers and span from industry to industry. Monthly and yearly subscriptions help to provide you with a recurring revenue stream and will help to increase your customer loyalty and engagement.”
The Sub Club feature gives content creators on the platform a place to archive their posts, clips, movies, photos, gifs and other content for their fans to access any time. Creators then receive an 80% revshare of the subscription revenue generated by their Sub Club – so if the monthly charge is $10, then the creator receives $8 for every monthly subscriber.
The Sub Club offers benefits to fans on the platform, as well, including the content creator’s “undelayed” high-definition live streams, access to source streams in HD, a Sub Club badge in chat and Sub Club-only content.
In a blog post explaining the benefits of the Sub Club for the platform’s streamers and creators, Heather K emphasized the fact that in setting up their Sub Clubs, creators are “in total control.”
“We’ve made setting up, managing, and maintaining your ePlay Sub Club easy, exciting, and empowering for all ePlay Streamers and Content Creators,” she wrote.
